Chris and I have just spent 4 days in Denmark visiting our friends Amy and Christian. We stayed in Knebel (50 minutes drive from Aarhus, Denmark's 2nd city) where Amy lives in a beautiful Danish house with an annex and its own lake! On Sunday we swam in the crystal clear waters just 15 minutes walk from Amy's house and I held a jellyfish.
We spent Monday and Tuesday in Copenhagen and enjoyed a fantastic hot chocolate in Peter Biegel then a gorgeous cream tea in the lovely A C Perch Tea house, where there are over 150 different teas to choose from. It seemed like I was training for a triathalon on Monday because I did 2 x 19 minutes on the C2 in a Danish gym, swam in the harbour at Havnebad after lunch (yes it was cold!) then biked back to the hotel on one of the cheap hire bikes available all around the city.
