I updated my forum post on the Concept 2 UK website today and received £20 sponsorship from Chris W and Niall who are both rowers. Niall completed one million metres last year in 100 days that's over 10k a day!
It is 102 days into the challenge and I have managed an average of 5,094 metres every day. Total metres so far = 519,627 metres or 322 miles! Just rowing up to Llandudno in North Wales on my Google map.
Hi Caroline , well done on getting passed the halfway mark, thats a result in itself. All down hill from here lol. Been a couple years since Tracey did her adaptive million metres but even back then i remember just how she felt then knowing she had passed halfway. When i get a chance will send out your link and try and draw up somemore sponsors for the effort you are putting in. Almost wants to makes me want to jump on the erg and do a challenge , that will have to wait till next month though. Stay strong and happy erging .
