
I was on holiday in New York last week and because I am still training for the British Indoor Rowing Championships I had to find a gym with a C2. Luckily the New York City Gym on 23rd and 8th saved the day.
5 days of interval training after the usual stretching and core exercises included:
10 minutes warm up, then 4 x 1,000 metres
10 minutes warm up, then 3 x 8 minutes
Unfortunately on the 2nd day my right knee flared up because the drag factor settings were way out. That's when I swapped the 1k fast intervals to the 8 minute sessions.
