The Fall Rowing Challenge

Yesterday was a good day rowing, I managed 8,771 metres by doing a 2k warm-up then 3 x 12 minute rows. It was also the first day of the Fall Rowing Challenge which is a competiton between virtual rowing teams around the world. The aim of the challenge is to row as many metres as a team between 15th September and 15th October. The team I captain is called Empty the Tanks and we are doing very well so far - yesterday we finished in 7th position out of 171 teams.
I am going to increase the daily metres during the next few weeks to boost the team totals.
You can read about Empty the Tanks on my other blog http://carolinesrowing.blogspot.com/.
I got sponsored £10 today by Bill at work - Thanks very much. I have raised £495 for the MS Society so far.
